“Ivan Labanda’s extraordinary performing abilities stand out. His chameleonic skills and ability to find new expressions and gestures of real personalities and build a character with a new and not transferable essence is getting stronger and greater. It gets better programme after programme. Labanda knows how to create a character that other impressionists copy. On Thursday’s episode there was a moment when Lavanda did an amazing and funny performing somersault. In the sketch where Catalan representatives at the Parliament criticize their leaders, Labanda imitated Gabriel Rufián imitating Oriol Junqueras. A brilliant parody. Labanda did not just change character. He managed to find the right tone halfway between both politicians to producer an impression of the impression.”
