SYNOPSIS
On 3 December 1991 Memory premiered at Teatre Goya in Barcelona. It was a brilliant journey through the history of North American musical. The show included songs from musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Misèrables, The Rocky Horror Picture Show… among others.
Memory premiered in Girona in a magical night where the audience applauded the performance for 10 minutes. The show was supposed to last 15 days at Teatre Goya. However, after the success it was taken to Teatre Tívoli, where it remained from December 25 to February 2 1992, having a full theatre in each performance. After these performances, Memory toured Catalonia with great success and more than 80,000 spectators.
On November 27, 1992, a renewed show under the name Nou Memory premiered at the Tívoli Theatre.
This new show presented new musical numbers as part of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where Àngels Gonyalons was accompanied by a choir of 22 children: Els Petits Cantors de Barcelona and Ivan Labanda was one of them.
