Departament Amades

SYNOPSIS

On the surface, the Amades Department appears to be a grey, underfunded office of the Catalan Government dedicated to cataloguing and preserving the country’s folklore and traditions. But this cover hides a secret: its members are actually responsible for keeping order among Catalonia’s mythological creatures, which—yes—do exist and live camouflaged among us.

Day after day, the Amades team makes sure that demons, minairons, water nymphs, tions and other creatures coexist peacefully with humans—and with the utmost discretion. But it’s not easy to keep the Devil, the Pesanta or the Bogeyman under control. And even less so when the Minister of the Interior is constantly threatening to shut down your department, fed up with your chaotic and highly unorthodox methods.
