Multidisciplinary artist who began his professional career at the age of 12, combining professional experience with continuous learning ever since.
RECOGNITION
As an actor, he has received four Butaca Awards and has been nominated eight times. He has also been recognized with the Teatre Barcelona Award, with three nominations; the Critics’ Awards, with two nominations; and the Teatre Musical.cat Award, with one nomination.
He has been honored with the RTVE Continuará Culture Award in recognition of his artistic career.
THEATRE
He has premiered more than 75 productions under the direction of directors and playwrights such as Àngel Llàcer, Sergi Belbel, and Tamzin Townsend at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya; Xavier Albertí at the Teatre Lliure; Joan Font (Comediants) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu; Joan Lluís Bozzo (Dagoll Dagom), Pau Miró, Paco Mir (Tricicle), Jordi Prat i Coll, among others.
DIRECTION
He made his debut as a stage director in 2010 with the production Fashion. Feeling. Music., with his own adaptation, and Solar Buit, at Sala Beckett in Barcelona.
He has written and directed audiovisual pieces, including the acclaimed music video Lobo by Elena Gadel, awarded at various national and international festivals. He has also co-directed the series Projecte Beta and Bajo el Sofá. He was part of the directing team of the film Robot Dreams, by Pablo Berger (Grand Prize at the Annecy Festival, Cannes International Film Festival, Sitges, TIFF, and nominated for an Oscar).
TELEVISION
He has hosted his own show, Labanda Sonora, and has recently appeared in the fiction series Departament Amades and Com si fos ahir. He has worked as an acting coach on Operación Triunfo and stars in the shows Polònia (Ondas Award and National Television Academy Award) and Crackòvia, both undisputed prime-time audience leaders in Catalonia for over 20 years.
He has also appeared in prominent roles in series such as Porca Miseria (Ondas Awards and BCN Film Festival, among other international recognitions); Kubala, Moreno y Manchón; Laberint d’Ombres; Psico-Express; and the comedy show APM?.
