More than thirty musicians and forty singers bring to the stage, for the first time in Barcelona, a mythical title in the history of the musical, a romantic and passionate score converted into a large-scale show in concert version. After achieving unprecedented success with Oklahoma !, the artistic pair formed by the llibretist Oscar Hammerstein II and the composer Richard Rodgers premiered on Broadway in 1945 a second joint work. Adapted a story by the Hungarian author Ferenc Molnárc about a firaire wearing a love of a young worker. The two are going to live together, but the scandal involving a love that at that time was considered immoral causes both to lose their jobs. But the girl is pregnant and the protagonist, Billy Bigelow, to ensure a future for the girl and the waiting creature, embarks on a theft of tragic consequences.
